A. Baker (now ILY Restaurant) emerged as part of the New Acton fire rebuild. The bakery fitout was highly specified, including details such as leaving the carbon marks on the concrete walls to recognise its heritage. Nikais Diamond built a commercial kitchen, serving and display areas, and internal and external eating spaces.
The fit-out included the use of re-claimed timber, natural blue stone for the use of seating and servery’s. The works also included a new basement bar, which included insitu concrete seating, custom steel work, and natural stone finishes.
